I wrote this play, about the catastrophic tornadoes that hit my hometown on April 27, 2011, in the summer of 2024.
Synopsis: In April 27, 2011, a Tuscaloosa father and his daughters anxiously await their mother’s return home as a horrific tornado threatens to destroy their home.
April 27, 2011 is the first play presented in this recording and is about six minutes long.
Directed by John Faust and Melelani Petersen and starring Koomah, Cynthia M. Leal, and Roger E. Palomino
