Billy Boy

An award-winning short film that I wrote, produced, and directed, that appeared in ten film festivals around the world. Find out which ones here, or click the “behind the scenes” button below.

Watch it:

In addition to writing, directing, and producing, I also edited, served as a part of the art department, cast the actors, led rehearsals, and commissioned the score, from Dogbotic.

Take a closer look behind the scenes of Billy Boy, including a commentary track with writer/director Will Roane and actor Tom Martin (Teddy), a red-carpet interview, a full list of festival appearances, the theatrical poster, production photos, the film’s trailer, a full cast and crew list, and more:

Other Line

A music video for Brooklyn-based indie supergroup Nicomo, for which I conceived of the concept and plot of the music video, cast the actors, scouted the location with the artist and cinematographer Bucky Illingworth, booked lodgings for the actors in Greenport, Long Island, to be nearby our shooting location, in Southold, Long Island. Coordinated catering and meals for the crew, who stayed at the location.

Other Line was accepted into two world film festivals.

Take a closer look at Other Line, including a our two world film festival acceptances, a full cast and crew list, and a review by Charley Ruddell:

P.T.A. Holes

A short film for which I executive produced, raising funds for production on a tight schedule in the final two weeks leading up to the shoot, directed by Caroline Gordon-Elliott, with cinematography by Sarah Cawley. Also served as 2nd Assistant Director, coordinating talent and crew transportation, catering logistics, up-to-date script deliveries to actors, and constructing and sending out daily call sheets.

The film stars Kelly Lee McDonald as a midwestern Mom who moves to Brooklyn, only to discover the other moms at her children’s school PTA are dropping mysteriously dead.

Official Selection at the SENE Film, Music, & Art Festival 2018 and the New York Shorts International Film Festival 2018

Let Go

A music video for electronica trio Saxsyndrum in which I produced and assistant directed for director/cinematographer Bucky Illingworth on location in Montreal, Canada, in which I coordinated citywide travel for the shoot’s huge scope, which included a borrowed VW Bus, a rainy cemetery, and the famous Olympic Park stadium.

Cosmic Joke

A music video for Brooklyn-based underground pop artist Alicia Walter, in which I assistant directed for director/cinematographer Bucky Illingworth. Coordinated catering and craft services, made various runs to assist talent with specific needs, and helped plan the shoot schedule.
